Happy Friday!
I met with Lacey and Travis last Sunday for a quick little engagement session at Benson Park. I had heard all about this location from various friends and family, and knew it was a great location based on other photographer recommendations as well, so I was uber excited to get out there and shoot a little bit.
The day was literally gorgeous! Sunny, warm(er)… and meeting for 1pm just happened to create for perfect lighting. I have found that what’s left of this years foliage has clung on more in the way-southern NH and MA regions. Maybe this is typical for the beginning of each November and I’ve just been totally oblivious lol!
These two were a breeze!! I feel most couples feel are a little awkward or uncomfortable in the beginning of sessions, and even if Lacey and Travis both truly felt this way, you would never have known. I honestly say that those who think they will feel awkward usually end up being the ones who show the most genuine emotions. Think about it– a camera is pointed right at you, you don’t know where to look or what to say, so you just look at your partner and giggle. THAT’S PERFECT!! It’s a great way to loosen up. I can’t remember if this happened with these two, since they were so perfect at posing and transitioning, but if they felt any sort of way, it definitely showed in their photos!
I absolutely love how fun this mini-session was, and cannot wait for their 2019 wedding!! Check out some of my favorites from their session 🙂
