I used to live right down the road from Mount Sunapee, but it’s a little crazy that I had never actually been there! I had previously stayed at Mountain Edge Resort years ago (back before I was a photographer) so I knew the getting ready space fairly well! But, it’s just crazy that I had passed by the road to their venue many times and had never actually seen what it looked like!!
Another summer wedding means warm light and lots of fun! And as usual for the end of September, going into the weekend was much hotter than it had been throughout the week, which is a sure sign that summer is coming to an end. But despite the spike in temperature, Brittany and Kevin’s day was incredibly relaxed, and it felt like there was zero pressure, which is unusual for me to see on a wedding day!
The reception space was beautiful, complete with Brittany’s hard work on the sunflower decor and simple centerpieces. I loved the two story space with the center (I guess you could say) cut out for a different experience and view! There were string lights hung throughout the bottom level which created a great evening ambiance.
I got the chance to speak with Kevin’s mom, and tell her how I could sense how close their family was and how outgoing each member was (especially Kevin!!)!! Everyone in attendance seemed genuinely happy to be there to celebrate the two, and once the dance floor opened, it was a party! Throwback song after throwback song and lots of fun dancing!
Brittany and Kevin’s wedding day was a great start to my triple header weekend. Though I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous to experience the pressure of 3 back to back weddings, I was incredibly grateful to kick it off with these two!!
Kevin and Brittany, thank you so much for inviting me in on your day!! I am so happy to have served you, and hope you love some of my favorites from your gallery!!
