I can’t believe it has already been almost TWO years since I last saw these two at their wedding!! Their wedding will always be one of my very favorites from my first full-time season, and I wish we could go back and do it again!
Nearly two years after their incredible event, they asked me to do some family portraits of their little family of three!! Well, four, if you include their sweet pup and first 4-legged baby, Terrance. The moment I saw Eliza post that they were going to be parents my heart was elated. If there are any two people in this world who would be the most genuine and loving parents, its Peter and Eliza!!
Transitioning into parenthood can be exhausting and hard, and I remember it like just yesterday. Their sweet girl Lumen (Is that not one of the most incredible names in the entire world?!) was on her own little schedule, as most little ones are, and though her first photoshoot was probably overwhelming for her, I am just so thrilled with the results.
Photoshoots aren’t always rainbows and sunshine. Sometimes they are filled with a little bit of spit up, chaos and soothing of your precious babe. But these are the sessions that are the most special in my opinion. The ones that capture new beginnings in a different light, and the ones that happen too quickly.
Moments are fleeting, and I am so glad that Eliza, Peter, Lumen and Terrance got the chance to have some photos taken in their own backyard. It was so special to me to see them again, and to see them as parents was just such an amazing opportunity that means a great deal to me!!
Congratulations you two on your sweet baby girl. She really is just so wonderful, and you both are crushing parenthood!! Til next time ❤️
