A Lakeside Engagement Session at the Wolfeboro, NH Town Docks

This session was so golden and beautiful and friends…. I am insanely proud of how these came out!!

I met with Nick and Kayla, who are just simply so sweet (!!), at the Wolfeboro Town Docks and though I was familiar with the location, I had never photographed a session there in the middle of lake season. Not to mention, I didn’t realize that it would also be graduation day for the high school in town so it was bustling with people everywhere!!!

As a photographer, this can be the biggest challenge. Having to work around crowds of people and still having undistracted backgrounds can be hard. But not impossible!! So, even though I slightly was nervous that it was going to be tooooo busy, it ended up being so wonderful and I love that you can tell it was busy-going location but not really at the same time. I call this session a huge win!!

Like I said…. Kayla and Nick are simply sweet. They have been together since high school and the love they radiate is just so pure. This location made a lot of sense since they spend a good amount of time around the lake, and I think it was all around super fitting!! At one point during the session my phone started ringing non-stop and I ignored it til I was done, but it turns out I accidentally went live on my Facebook during their session and all my friends started calling in like what is going on?! So if anyone saw my live and wondered what that was, it was just me doing my thing with these two 😂

I want to give a huge shoutout to these two for being in front of a huge crowd of people with me directing them!!! I’m sure that was wildly out of their comfort zone, because who wants to be standing in front of a ton of strangers with a camera on them?! But they both KILLED it at their session and I am just so looking forward to their gorgeous wedding that is just shy of a year away!!!
