A Perfect Summer Wedding at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers, Massachusetts

Last July we got to have round one of wedding celebrations with Brett and Nicole’s immediate family. Fast forward a whole year later, and we got to do it again!!! This time, under normal conditions and it all turned out so perfectly.

The weather in New England has been a wild ride the last few weeks and leading up to the wedding I was veeerrryyy nervous that my luck with the weather was not going to hold up. I literally tell people that I have the craziest luck with wedding days when it comes to weather and friends… my luck held up once more!!

We all waited as long as we could to make the final call on whether to have the ceremony indoors or outdoors. If you’ve never been to Glen Magna before (which I hadn’t up til this point), it’s abundantly clear you don’t book this venue to get married inside. The gardens are gorgeous, with the beautiful columns and old textures sprinkled throughout. It almost felt like you were stepping back in time a little bit.

And by the grace of the mother nature…. we got to have it all!!! ALL portraits were completed before the rain began again, and the ceremony was held in the garden!!! There wasn’t a single part of the day I didn’t love. The energy was refreshing… hardly anyone say in their seats as the live band played the night away. And even though I don’t usually get to have TWO wedding days with my couples, I found myself leaving thinking “I’d really love to do this again next July!!”
