10/10/20. The hottest day (and I don’t mean because of the weather, though it did get to be pretty warm that day lol) of the year for photographers, and I am THRILLED I got to spend mine with these two!!
Rachel I swear is my long lost sister, which is really coincidental because I really do have a sister named Rachael lol! Rachel is a bad ass, and really took the spirit of the changes the awful C word threw at them this year and did a phenomenal job.
With full permission, we are calling this their faux wedding and honestly, I really love it!! They pushed back their big celebrations to next year, but still decided to mark the day this year and do the thing by making them officially married!!
Rachel wore a gorgeous burgundy gown with a stunning floral crown and a matching bouquet. Though we are calling this their faux wedding, the emotions of the day were very much real. Watching her nerves as she got ready to say I Do was so beautiful, and it made me really glad that despite all the changes this year has brought, they were still able to do what really matteres most and it was to show up this day and start this new season of life.
Eric compliments Rachel so perfectly, and the two of them together are a freaking trip!! It’s easy to let the candid moments happen with them, and I really enjoyed the unforced way their day unfolded.
They got to host their intimate celebrations at their original venue, Mayfair Farms, which is absolutely stunning!!! The brand new fresh and modern barn was absolutely immaculate, and I can’t wait to go back next year to do it all over again!!
Eric and Rachel, thanks for being two really incredible people and for letting me hang with you during your faux wedding. I can’t wait see you again for the real one ?
