A Bright Fall Couple’s Session at Cranmore Mountain Resort in Conway, New Hampshire

Time is such a weird thing to think about sometimes. Especially when you consider the fact that the last time I saw these two (well, three!) was when they had just found out that they were expecting their now five month old baby boy!!

It’s only been a year since I last saw Nick and Amy, but man, how much has changed since then! We had a hard conversation when they came to the difficult decision to not host their October wedding due to all that’s going on in the world, and for as hard as it was, the safety of them, their guests and their sweet newborn was vastly more important. Which of course will always be top priority!! But, even though their wedding plans had changed, I couldn’t let them not dress up and have some portraits!!

We got together in Conway not far from their venue and decided to have some fun taking some fall portraits! It was absolutely gorgeous — the golden glow was literally unbelievable!! I got to meet their sweet baby boy, Nickolas, who is the perfect mix of his parents!! His baby blues nearly killed me, and his little pout that showed up in some of the pictures have pulled my little heart strings so hard as I edited these!!

I gotta say. Becoming a first time mom in the modern world can sometimes be really hard. There are so many different people telling you “do this,” and “do that,” that is can be so freakin’ overwhelming. But one thing I want to say again to you Amy, is that I am just so proud of you making the right choices for you and your sweet babe, despite the pressure to do make other choices!! I’ve loved watching you and Nick become parents, and I must admit he has two of the coolest around!! ? And Nick, a BIG congratulations to you again on all your career accomplishments!! I loved talking with you about it, and seeing the excitement on your face!

I really hope we get to do this again sometime soon, but for now, enjoy my top favs and know that I’m sending all my love to you three!! ❤️
