A Classy Summer Wedding by the Lake at The Basin Harbor Resort in Vergennes, Vermont

I have been looking forward to this wedding since Jamie first reached out to me in 2019 shortly after her and Justin got engaged! I first met them both at Justin’s sisters wedding in 2018 which now feels like so incredibly long ago!! Jamie was a bridesmaid and Justin was groomsman and now — they got to be the bride and groom!!!

I cannot express how much I absolutely adore the Palker family, and after finally meeting all of Jamie’s family, too– the seamless blend of the two families is truly something I have never seen before. The entire day was so fun, so relaxed, so down to earth and I love the feeling of stepping into a place that feels so familiar to me, which is what everyone there made it feel like.

My time started at their rehearsal dinner on Friday where I got to hang and take photos of everyone just being together enjoying catching up. And then Saturday, Jamie and Justin threw a beautifully classy wedding on the lake and it truly was a summer wedding!! The heat was overwhelming at times all weekend but we all pushed through and before you knew it it was time for intros and the night came and went too fast.

Justin and Jamie, I can’t thank you enough for letting me come back to your area to this time celebrate you!! I loved every minute of your weekend and it was such a treat getting to see everyone, both familiar faces and new ones 🙂 Enjoy some of my favorites from your day!
