A Country Engagement Session in Newport, Vermont

There is something about the rolling hills in the country of Vermont that had me feeling excited for this session!! I met up with Ryan and Hayley in their hometown, a place I have not yet ventured to, for their engagement portraits and though there was nothing but full blown sun at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon… I am overjoyed about how this session turned out!!!

Let me start by saying, Hayley is one of the most genuine, kind and sweetest souls I have ever met. The second she stepped foot out of the car it felt like I had already known her for so long and I felt like we clicked right away!! And then I was pleasantly surprised at how insanely funny and outgoing Ryan is!! Putting the two of them together and I am not exaggerating when I tell you they are quite literally perfect. I’m sure you will see exactly what I mean, but the vibes and chemistry I get from them is like Noah and Allie from the Notebook. The only thing missing was a lake and a row boat!!!

OH MY HEART the way Ryan can make her laugh and the way Hayley looks at him. OUCH!!!!

We strolled the open field where they will be hosting their wedding next year and the views are stunning. At the end of their session we ventured to their adorable home where I got to meet the infamous favorite cow, Oprah, that Hayley adores!! I kind of am hoping she will be the flowercow and show up with a floral crown on 🥺

I am so very excited to head back to that same exact spot next June to make more magic and do it all over again! Hayley, I am so thankful that you found me on the gram, and Ryan, I hope you’re thrilled I wasn’t a catfish 😜 (Truly that will go down as one of the funniest things any of my grooms have ever said to me before 😂😂)
