A Summer Wedding at The Mountain View Grand in Whitefield, New Hampshire

This was my first ever wedding I’ve photographed at this venue, and I have been waiting what seems like forever to! This has been one of those gorgeous venues I’ve been dying to clear off my bucket list and I am SO thrilled I got to finally take portraits here!

Michaela and Ben are no doubt a good time. I don’t know if anyone remembers, but they were the two I photographed last summer in the row boat that gave alllll the Nicholas Sparks vibes, and their wedding day was just the same!

The weather could not have been more perfect for July. Not a cloud in the sky, a nice breeze to go with the warm summer air and the sunset was simply stunning with the mountain views. Throughout the day everyone had the best energy — Michaela, from the second I walked into the getting ready suite, was so relaxed and go with the flow. Which is always nice because it assures me she’s being taken care of and that the morning has gone off without a hitch!

Setting up for the first look for Ben and Michaela was absolutely, hands down, one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I placed Ben where he needed to be, and called for Michaela, Ben’s emotions started to flow and it was just so tender and sweet. And then, he turned around and saw his bride and ohhh my gossshhhhh!! I melted!!

The whole day was literally perfect. From start to finish, I can’t think of any hiccups. They had amazing entertainment and all their guests were ready to hit the dance floor the second we came in from sunset portraits!! I don’t know why, but saying my goodbyes to Michaela and Ben made me quite tearful. These two are genuinely so sweet and kind hearted, and I am just so thankful I got to be the one to document this journey for them!!
