A Fan Pier Couple’s Session in Boston, Massachusetts
I just love all the people I get to meet. Meg and I first met at a wedding I photographed last summer and it just feels so good being able to see a familiar face for some portrait time!
When Meg and I first chatted about finally booking a session I was absolutely thrilled! And when she said Boston? Yes please! I love any excuse to head into the city, especially when it’s for a session! I feel like Boston is such a versatile place, and this was my first time in the Seaport District and wow – I had no idea how truly beautiful it was! We strolled along the Fan Pier area and it honestly ended up being a score. I usually battle against pedestrians in the background but each spot ended up working perfectly – ESPECIALLY on the dock with the city as the backdrop!
While I may or may not have been shouting excitedly as I made magic with Mike and Meg during what seemed to be a proposal behind me (whoops!!!), I had so much fun chatting with them and capturing that dipping November light that still just hits so differently and I LOVE IT! And I love these two and how laid back and carefree they are. If they were nervous I genuinely couldn’t tell. Mike warmed up right away (win!) and Meg is just the sweetest gal.
I know you two will be reading this from tropical sands and some place warm but I hope you enjoy more of my favorites from your session!!! I’m obsessed!!!
