A Lifestyle Newborn Session; Welcome Baby Lucas!

Remember these two and their snowy maternity session just a handful of weeks ago?! Well, they finally welcomed their handsome little boy, Lucas, into the world and gosh, is he just a sweet little pea!

Adding their first family session to the roster was so wonderful for me. Full circle moment, honestly. Engagement session –> wedding –> 1st Christmas married –> maternity –> newborn! How wild of a ride it’s been, but it truly has been such a great one with them!!

Cassie and Nate are settling into parenthood just fine and I love seeing it. Nate is the pro swaddler and momma has that touch that sends little man sleeping. Lucas was a ham for his first round of photos and I feel like maybe, just maybe, I might have found a nice little groove with all the little babies I have had the opportunity to photograph over the last few months!!! Baby Lucas was a little camera shy at first but before we knew it he was snoozy and calm, and ohhhhh those tiny features I could spend all day photographing.

Such a beautiful family that truly feels full. Mom, dad, two cats, miss Harper pup who runs the house and their little baby brother Lucas who fits in perfectly and really is a perfect mix if Nate and Cassie. I just love it!!!
