This has been my busiest winter ever for engagement sessions, and though it is January, Stephanie and Joey’s session took place on one of the warmest days I think I have ever seen at this time of year in New England!
A whopping 70* in certain parts of the state, but the weather this day was actually a bit of a challenge. The snow was nearly completely gone, and the wind was incredibly hard to work with. The sun was also super duper bright but all in all, I think with no glowy snow left to work with, we made it work just fine!!
Joey and Stephanie are insanely relaxed and so easy going! They are having a rustic wedding this August at the Nashoba Valley Winery, and I am ecstatic for it!! That venue is gorgeous!! And, not to mention their son will be part of their big day which is always so special!! I learned that Joey proposed to Stephanie last Easter, by placing her ring in an Easter egg for her to find, and getting down on one knee. SO sweet!
For only having done a mini-session before and not ever really having couples portraits done, these two did amazing!! And, aside from us trekking through mud and poor Stephanie’s hair flying everywhere, it really was a fun time! Such a sweet couple, and I can’t wait to photograph them again on their warm wedding day in August!
Joey and Stephanie, thank you for meeting with me! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from your session 🙂
