I can’t begin to tell you how much I absolutely love these two!!!
Their intimate wedding day was so perfect! I know, like so many others, their wedding plans had to shift. But their plans were so beautiful and thoughtful, and exactly what I had envisioned for them.
I met Dot and Eddy for the first time at their engagement session earlier this year, and let me tell you! Their session and wedding day could have not bee more opposite weather-wise if we had tried. Their engagement session was in the dead of winter, and their wedding was on a 90* summer day! It was hot, but it all worked out perfectly. We had full sun with glow for their portraits and then cloud cover came for the ceremony, making it so much more comfortable!
Eddy and Dot celebrated with such an outgoing group of friends. There was not a single moment of stress the entire day, and everyone just seemed so genuinely happy for them. Dot had many moments of sweet tears, and Eddy’s smile and adoration for his girl all day was just so pure. The two of them together make my heart melt into pieces!!!
My favorite moments consisted of when Dot’s sister announced they could “kith” (you’ll see what I mean), the bubbles at the end of the ceremony and the speeches everyone gave. Specifically, Dot’s moms speech when she talked about a big velvet portrait of Dot from when she was a baby!!
They celebrated with picnic baskets filled with sandwiches and little goodies, and the set up they had was just the perfect touch!! It’s easy to forget the little details when your original plans have been derailed, but I am just so thankful that they made the best of the changes and made it everything I hoped it would be for them!! The picnic was such a good idea!! ?
Eddy and Dot — thank you for being so genuine and sweet, and for inviting me to help celebrate you on your special day!! I hope you enjoy my very favorites from last Sunday <3
