It’s finally that time of year again where I start seeing fall weddings, and I am not even a little bit sad about it!!! The colors, the decor, the overall feel — it’s one of my favorite seasons for weddings. And, despite it being technically a summer day, the weather was PERFECT and it felt like a true autumn day.
Catrina and Nick are two incredibly special people who I just happened to speak to for the first time ever just a few short months ago. But, like so many others, it was effortless from the first moment I arrived and met them on their wedding day. Catrina is such a freakin’ sweetheart, and her friends are literal queens. The bridal party was so outgoing that it made it incredibly hard to leave by the time it was time for me to go!!! And then Nick, from the start of the day to my goodbyes, had nothing but this really incredible and infectious smile on his face. I have literally never seen a groom of mine smile a purely genuine and excited smile like Nick, and then throw Catrina and him together for portraits and MY GOSH you have the perfect recipe!!
Heart eyes and fall were the theme for their intimate back yard wedding. Nick and Catrina shared some really sweet moments with one another, and their kind of love is the kind that’s really easy, really fun and really just so pure. All of their friends and family were a blast, and like so many I’ve seen before, there was nothing but pure joy surrounding them all day long.
Some details I really appreciated were the shoes that Catrina’s mom had sewn details on, the beautiful arbor with strung lights, and the table honoring loved ones that couldn’t be there to see these two off on their new season of life.
