A Bright and Bold Wedding at The Inn at Grace Farm | Fairfax, Vermont

The first time I met Brendan and Beca was all the way back in 2019 for their engagement session in Auburn, NH that now seems like lifetimes ago. Over the course of these almost two years, I have had the pleasure of not only photographing their engagement session, but also celebrating them with a couple’s session last year after they postponed their wedding like so many others.

One thing I really love about these two is that they let their bright themed wedding be a direct reflection of the bright kind of couple they are. And at one point throughout the wedding, I got the chance to speak with Brendan’s mom, right before the start of dinner. Both moms were teary eyed throughout the day but what was so sweet to watch was how they leaned on one another. Two moms who had nothing but tears of joy and love for two people who are so perfect together. When I was scrolling through my camera showing Brendan’s mom some photos, she looked at me with the most loving expression and said that her favorite photos that I’ve taken of them were the ones where they were looking at one another, because their connection really shines in those ones.

And you know what, momma? You’re right. And that’s why I chose one of them for their main banner photo!

It’s true. The way Beca and Brendan have looked at one another since I’ve known them in 2019 has been so pure, gentle and fun. All throughout my time with them I’ve always left feeling fulfilled and with having had so much fun being around them. Getting to know their friends and family was just the icing on the cake!

Their bright and bold wedding went by so fast, yet it was one of the most relaxed wedding days I think I have ever been part of. There was no hustle and bustle. When I pulled up to the venue, family was outside enjoying the mountain scenery. Beca and Brendan strolled the property making sure things were in place. And everything was just…. perfect.

I am completely obsessed with the bright colors they chose for their wedding. It really wouldn’t have made sense if they didn’t have it! And looking back on their engagement photos from 2019, their bright wardrobe choices completely made sense and each piece leading up to this day came together so nicely.

Beca and Brendan, congratulations on all you both have accomplished since the start of my walk with you!! I’m so excited to see your next journey in life, and hopefully, we will have another bold and colorful portrait session real soon 🙂 Enjoy some favs from your gallery!
