A Lifestyle Newborn Session

Okay okay, I guess technically little Leo is outside the “newborn” phase. But he’s still so sweet and tiny that we are going with it! This little man is full of personality and I am SO thrilled I got to take these sweet portraits of him!!

I first met his momma, Kristin, shortly after she gave birth to her first son, when she tagged along to Kaela & Jeff’s engagement session which seems like eons ago now! I saw her again at their wedding last winter and being invited to her beautiful home where we were able to be comfy in their own safe space felt so awesome.

Leo is a perfect ball of wonder. His blue eyes remind me of Kristin’s (that girl has seriously pretty eyes!!), and the entire time he just vibed out. It almost felt like I was waiting for the shoe to drop and I would lose his calm and smiley personality any minute but it truly did not come til the very end. He was SO alert and SO interested in what was going on, and this was a reminder how fun working with little tiny humans can be for me.

I don’t do a wild amount of these kinds of sessions, but boy oh boy do I enjoy these lifestyle sessions.

Thank you Kristin for inviting me over to take some sweet little photos of Leo!!! He is truly so precious. And I cannot WAIT to see you soon for some fall family portraits!!!
