A Lakeside Fall Engagement Session in Meredith, New Hampshire

I just LOOOOOVE these portraits, and how amazing these two did during their session!! I could have kept the session going all afternoon, and I apologize for yet another massive blog but it’s SO hard for me to limit photos when they are this good!!

Photographing by the lake is always such a treat. I feel like I have lucked out with getting a lot of time by the lake for photos this year, and seeing fall time hit over lake Winni was beautiful.

Jackie, Pete and I had originally planned to have their session the weekend prior, but the weather played us dirty so we ultimately decided to hold out and I am soooo glad we did!!! If we hadn’t have waited, we wouldn’t have had the glow, or backdrops we did, so even though it was painful to make the decision, it was ultimately the best and I’m thrilled with the outcome!

Pete and Jackie met me at their venue, Church Landing, to start and it’s literally so gorgeous. It’s been one of those venues that I feel like I know so many fellow photographers have shot at, but it’s taken me 8 years to make it there myself!! It’s beautiful, and I can only imagine what it will be like a year from now when it’s all decorated for their wedding.

After we took portraits at their venue, we went up the road to a special little spot on the lake where Pete’s family has a home. AND… it was the same spot where he proposed to Jackie!!! It was so fun, and I am so glad we got to go to both locations. The sun was out in full force at that time, but I love how that set turned out 😍
