This wedding and engagement season has given me quite a few reasons to head back to North Conway, which just so happens to be a special place and where Amy and Nick will be getting married next year!!
Though it was an overcast day, Echo Lake made for the perfect setting for their engagement session. I had never been before, but this was a place close to Nick and Amy, and it only made sense to have their portraits done at this location.
Not really aware of where I was going, I actually took an unintended trip up to Cathedral Ledge which was the mountain directly behind them in most of their portraits! It was so beautiful, serene and colorful with the reflection of falls foliage on the water.
These two are simply perfect, and I truly enjoyed my hour with them!! We talked about Dunks, and I learned that both Nick and I each have a fav beverage that’s no longer offered (white hot chocolate for me). And, I learned that Amy has one of the most bubbly and sweet personalities ever!! She had a beautiful, genuine grin on her face the entire time, and it was fun to see her at ease hanging out with me, even though I’m sure they both had some nerves!!
They seemed so natural having their portraits taken– so much so that I am waaaaay oversharing from their gallery!! Too many favorites not to show, and if I’m struggling this much with just their engagement photos, I know that their wedding gallery is going to be tough to pick favs from!!!
Nick and Amy (and your two adorable pups), thank you SO much for taking the trip up from Mass to meet with me!! I am thrilled we finally got to meet, and cannot wait to see you again!! I have a feeling 2020 is going to be your year <3
