One thing I absolutely love is allllll the details! If you’ve followed me on social media, I’m more than positive you’ve heard me say that a few times too many. And this wedding sang to my heart because it was all about the details!!
When I tell you Marley is a DIY queen… I mean Marley is a DIY QUEEN!!! One thing she made sure to let me in on was how much time and effort she put in to make sure her wedding details were elegant. And, it honestly left me a little speechless at how amazing of a job she did! When I walked into the reception space, I was seriously in awe. Everything was bright, and the greenery complimented the blues so well. I was in heaven while photographing everything!!
Jonathan and Marley’s day was absolutely perfect in every way. The weather was a little dreary and rainy when I first arrived, but with another luck of the draw, we ended up with one of the most comfortable summer days yet! It was the perfect temperature and the breeze was nice to work with after the hot spell of weather we had just gotten through.
One of the best parts of the day was when we all realized there was a rainbow over the chapel after the ceremony! I almost missed a photo of it, but was able to snag one right before it was too late!
Overall, my favorite moments included Marley and Jonathan and their infectious happiness that radiated off of them the entire time they were together. Jonathan is literally one of the sweetest guys I have come to meet, and was cool as a cucumber the entire day! And then there’s Marley, who has the best laugh and I swear every time I turned around she had this incredible grin on her face! It was truly heartwarming seeing them both glow and embrace this new season of life that is only just beginning.
If there is one thing that stuck out to me most, it was when I went to check on Jonathan and Marley shortly after dinner was served, just to make sure they didn’t need anything or if they did, I could help serve them. And Marley just sat back, looking out at her guests, and said “I’m just trying to soak it all in.” Those are the words I want all my couples to say on their big day. I want every bride and every groom to see their loved ones celebrating them, and taking small moments to reflect and be present. Because before you know it, the day is gone and a new chapter begins and all you’re left with is the memories of one of the best days of your life!
Marley and Jonathan, thank you both so much for allowing me the privilege to serve you on what was one of my very favorite weddings yet! I enjoyed capturing all the details, and meeting some of your amazing friends and family! I hope you enjoy this new season, and some of my very favorites from your gallery.
