When Brandy first messaged me about her and Keith getting married, I felt like I had instantly connected with someone who my best friend. She was excited, genuine and so thrilled to share her and Keith’s love story.
I learned quickly that what they have is incredibly special, and they are two of the most genuine souls I have ever met. Though I hadn’t officially met them both in person til just last weekend, it was more than evident that their personalities complimented one another in the most perfect way.
And, I wasn’t wrong! The way they look at each other is so, so sweet. SO many heart eyes!!! Keith frequently said how beautiful she was throughout the session, and how much he loved her. Anytime we moved from one location to the next, I didn’t have to tell either of them where to out their hands or where to look, because they were just so connected in the most natural way. Their chemistry is so strong, and their connection the entire time was completely effortless.
We talked. We laughed. We learned more about one another on a human level, and it’s my favorite thing when I can gain friends and not just be seen as a photographer. Keith and Brandy made me feel so welcomed to knowing more about them, and what’s funny is that Brandy I connect on social media so often that I felt like I have already known her for YEARS instead of just mere months.
I’m excited to see their love grow, and I can’t wait to celebrate them again!! Getting together with my couples to take amazing portraits continues to be what’s saving me from wallowing in how different this year has turned out to be. Keith and Brandy are solid reminders that no matter what happens, being together is all that matter. And I’m just so, so grateful for their bright outlooks and consistently positive energy!
Thank you both for meeting me halfway. For listening to me rant about random things. For allowing me to work barefoot in the tall grass when my sandals kept falling off, and for not judging me for freaking out about all the little spiders that made their way into my camera bag.
