If there’s one place I absolutely love doing portrait sessions, it’s Prescott Park in Portsmouth!! This location is perfect at pretty much every point during the year, and when Hannah let me know they were deciding on this location, I couldn’t have been more thrilled, because Springtime in the gardens never fails!!
Hannah and Jeff provided fresh energy, and I knew the second I saw them walking towards the park that my time with them would be so easy and fun. One thing I absolutely love is when my couples say “I’m a little awkward,” because guess what?! I’m awkward, too! Having photos taken is not a natural thing to most people, but the two of them I could have sworn have done this a thousand times!
Jeff knew just how to get Hannah to laugh, and it turns out Hannah is a big fan of hotdogs which played into my favor during their session!! We strolled around chasing the light, ran into a few of their friends driving by and talked about how relatively relaxed their wedding planning process has been. I loved watching the two of them naturally connect and roll with the process. Their outfits were on point, Hannah’s hair was simply gorgeous and Jeff just knew all the things to do before we even got started!
They are having a NEW YEARS EVE wedding (UM YESSSS!) at one of the most amazing venues that I have been really excited to photograph at!! They’ll be getting married at La Piece – The Room, which I have heard nothing but amazing things about, and I am just so ecstatic to help them celebrate their big day there!! It will be the best way to leave a bang on 2020!
