Sarah + Thatcher | An Early Summer Elopement | Currier Museum of Art | Manchester, New Hampshire

I have been truly blessed to be able to work with some of the sweetest couples open earth!!

Sarah and Thatcher have been in constant communication with me over the last several weeks with everything going on with the pandemic. We had to cancel their engagement photos because they were originally scheduled during the time when the pandemic first hit and New Hampshire went into a state of emergency, which was a SUPER bummer!! And then, they had to make the tough decision to postpone their big wedding celebrations to when they could have all their friends and family present. But that didn’t stop them from still getting married on their original day!!

Walking into the room at the Ash Street Inn where Sarah was getting ready was such a wave of relief for me, after not being able to meet her in person til this point!! I knew before meeting her that she had a very outgoing, bubbly and caring personality, and all of that was confirmed when her face lit up when I walked in to greet her!! It was so hard not hug her!!

Her attention to all the little details I love was welcomed — I loved that even though their day was going to look a bit differently than they had originally planned, she still allowed me to capture all the pieces that made up a unique day regardless.

The Currier Museum of Art is a beautiful place to host an event, and I was SO excited when they emailed me to tell me that the museum would allow them to still have their ceremony there!! It was a very peaceful and easy going time, and my favorite part of their ceremony was listening to their vows and seeing how focused they were to hearing every single word they exchanged.

One of the moments that stood out the entire day to me, was when I was helping Thatcher put on his boutonniere and I shared how absolutely gorgeous Sarah looked, having just been able to spend time with her getting ready. Thatcher’s response of “she always does,” gave me all the feels!! That response, in addition to the connection that was just so obvious between them, was very telling of how special their love is.

Sarah and Thatcher, thank you both so incredibly much for allowing me capture this day for you! I’m so thankful to know two very genuine souls, and I cannot wait to help celebrate you both again next year!! I hope you enjoy some of my very favorites from your day <3

They had so many friends and family tune in via live stream, and it’s times like these where I am so thankful we have the technology we do <3
I am obsessed with this photo!!!! Sarah specifically requested this photo and I got goosebumps in the middle of taking this set!!!
This just speaks classic romance to me!!!
I love their sweet love and energy!!
So so so so sweet!!!
Sarah received this gift from her parents — a photo of her sweet pup Millie who’s no longer with us <3
I have no idea why, but I adore this photo of Sarah!! She specifically asked for a photo with Abe, and this was one of those in-between-candid moments and I just love it!!!
