One week.
Delaney, Trevor and their families planned this wedding in one week. They received some hard news and wanted to make sure that those most closest to them were present to witness these two beautiful people starting their marriage, so in one week’s time, they organized a stunning intimate family event and it was absolutely perfect.
This was my first time meeting this family, but I felt incredibly welcomed by those closest who came out to celebrate Trevor and Delaney. The energy was incredible, and it was a solid reminder as to why I love capturing weddings!!
It’s not just about the love between two people. It’s about the love between everyone who gathers. There was a lot of sweet hugs, smiles and little moments during just my few short hours there, and it pulled hard at my heart strings.
The details surrounding their day were perfect!! I felt truly thankful to be able to be there to serve these families, and capturing moments that I know will be looked back on for a very long time. Delaney and her dad melted my heart, and I am so thankful I got to meet him this last weekend and take some of my very favorite father-daughter portraits of all time. It’s clear to me how special this man is in all their lives, and it truly reflects in the portraits in their gallery.
From the little moments, the many details and thought put into making this happen, and the love that filled the event last Saturday — not to mention the fact it showed rain in the forecast all day but it held out (!!!) — it was truly a special day that ended up so perfectly!
