A Purple, Industrial Inspired Wedding at La Piece – The Room in Tilton, New Hampshire

This was a wedding I was so excited to photograph for seemingly a long time! I was also a little nervous because Kayleigh being a photographer herself, the bar is set a little higher and I knew I didn’t want to disappoint! But I was very much looking forward to this day because it was a different style than most weddings, in the best way possible!! They chose beautiful royal purple tones with silver touches and a focus on an industrial feels and I think their vision came together flawlessly.

I spoke to Kayleigh many times leading up to their wedding and honestly… she feels like a sister to me. Her and I had some really wonderful conversations — some about the wedding, some about life. But each time I saw a message pop up from her I got excited to chat!! I really connected with the two of them at their engagement session which was so much fun, and their wedding day was just as magical.

There were so many thoughtful touches to the day that really spoke volumes to me. Kayleigh got ready in her grandparents lake home, which holds such sentimental value to her. Her grandfather couldn’t be present with us, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t there and I feel he truly was there celebrating with them, even if it wasn’t in physical form.

The fun touches and thoughtful pieces selected for their day were such a delight. From the Custom cocktail napkins and Koyo (their pupper) tributes sprinkled here and there to the beautiful design work from Kayleigh’s good friend, Melinda. The soft seating area, the globe for guests to sign, the frog on the head table, the vintage camera that belonged to I believe her Grandfather…. so many wonderful things and I loved how much was incorporated.

NOT TO MENTION — Thomas arrived in their finally finished suped up car that they have been working on for forever! It was such a unique touch and Thomas if you’re reading this… I personally would like to say your photos with the car are kinda badass 🤪

I could go on for years about how much I honestly adore this pair of amazing humans who got married… I mean. I may have cried leaving but who knows… it wasn’t documented 😘
