I got a phone call last summer from a number I didn’t recognize. I never ever receive phone inquiries regarding my pricing and collections for weddings, but this was my very first one!! Not knowing who it was, I answered instead of letting it go to voicemail.
What was a first time phone inquiry for me, turned into me getting to know Sean and Angela really well over the next many months leading up to their April wedding. Angela and I exchanged countless emails, texts and calls and I have got to say… she has been one of the most enthusiastic and hands on brides I have ever met when it comes to her wedding photography experience!!
What I learned about Sean and Angela leading up to the wedding, was that they were outgoing, laid back and incredibly in love. When I met with them in person in November to go over everything I knew I had been given the pleasure of working with two of the best people I could possibly find.
And boy, was I right!!
I lost so many nights of sleep being way too excited for their wedding! That, and watching the weather like a hawk every single day, multiple times a day, hoping and praying for good weather!! And when I tell you I stalked the weather every day…. I literally mean I watched the extended forecast beginning in February (I know I’m crazy but I couldn’t help it!!!). There were days where rain would show up and I nearly cried rivers!!
But… their day was breathtaking. The warmest day of the season by far, and nothing short of perfect. The ocean breeze, the smell of an early summertime, the warmth on everyone’s skin… and the city of champions on the horizon.
Everything from start to finish was flawless. The guys wore Patriots rings and the ladies wore flattering coral dresses. The nautical theme blended perfectly with the touch of sunflowers, and the joy that filled the venue for Sean and Angela from their friends and family is what really topped it all off!!
I can’t thank Mr. and Mrs. Donahue enough for giving me the honor of photographing them on their beautiful day!! I hope you two enjoy your time in Ireland, and some of my favorites from the wedding!!
