Vicki + Jamie | Canterbury Shaker Village Engagement Session

They are finally getting married!!

I have been friends with Vicki since way back in my elementary school days… and I can’t believe how much time has already passed! I feel like I’ve been waiting for her and Jamie’s wedding day ever since they first began dating over ten years ago!!

I remember when I caught the news of their engagement. I was over the moon excited! I remember sitting, nearly in tears because of how happy I was that she was going to tie the knot with Jamie. And then I was nearly in tears again when she allowed me the privilege of being her photographer!!!!

It was nice to take an hour and hang with them last weekend, and honestly, I can’t wait til September rolls around!! Their session was so easy – not because I know them and we already had a connection… but because they were effortless to direct with how perfect of a pair they are. It’s a beautiful thing seeing one of your good friends celebrating one of the biggest milestones in their life, and I am happy to be apart of their journey in a way that is so natural to me.

Vicki and Jamie, thank you for allowing me this role and for letting me take some photos of you guys! And, thanks to your friend Chuck for tagging along and providing entertainment with Thane and Loki while we went off for photos. I can’t wait for your big day to come, and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from your session!!
